1. Who we are

Mynted is a consent-first digital twin marketplace operated by Mynted Agency. We connect real people who license the use of their likeness with brands that use AI to generate campaign imagery. Our platform is available at mynted.agency.

2. What data we collect

When you sign up as a model, we collect: your email address and password (for authentication), your display name and bio, three source photographs (face portrait, full body, side profile), and your category preferences.

From these photographs, we use AI to generate a portfolio of 7 images. The source photographs are stored privately and are never shown publicly — only the generated portfolio images are visible in the catalog.

We also collect transaction data (earnings, payout records) and usage data (which brands have generated images using your likeness).

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools that collect personal data. The only cookies we use are strictly necessary session cookies that keep you signed in.

3. Why we process your data

We process your data to: operate your model account and dashboard, generate your portfolio using AI, display your profile to brands in the catalog, calculate and process your earnings, and comply with legal obligations.

Our legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (given during signup) and the performance of a contract (your model agreement with Mynted).

4. AI-generated images and your likeness

By signing up and completing the verification process, you explicitly consent to Mynted using your source photographs to train a personal AI model of your likeness. This AI model is used solely to generate portfolio images and brand campaign images on your behalf.

You retain full control over which categories of brands can use your likeness. You may withdraw consent and request deletion of all your data at any time (see Section 7).

All generated images include metadata indicating they were AI-generated, in accordance with the EU AI Act transparency requirements.

5. Who we share data with

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account on Mynted. If you request deletion, all personal data — including source photographs, generated images, and account information — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by EU accounting law, but these are anonymised after account deletion.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, erase your data ('right to be forgotten'), restrict or object to processing, and data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

To exercise any of these rights, use the 'Remove from catalog' option in your dashboard — this permanently deletes all your data immediately. Alternatively, email privacy@mynted.agency.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Sweden, this is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY): imy.se.

8. Cookies

We use one type of cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account. This cookie expires when you sign out or after 8 hours of inactivity. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under ePrivacy rules.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest update.
